We are a growing food distribution company with an aggressive desire committed to serving our customers. We have an immediate need for a highly motivated person to fill our Office position in Commerce, CA.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Customer Service/ Office Assistant to join our team.

Job duties include:

- Processing customer purchase orders efficiently and correctly

- managing current customer orders

- Providing excellent customer service through phone calls and e-mail communication.

- Supporting new accounts and being the point of contact for prospective customers

- Connecting with cold and warm leads to convert to a customer.

- Assist the Sales Team with support as needed: Faxing, e-mailing documents, coordinator customer shipments, updating and preparing new item forms

- Monitoring and updating inventory as needed to keep the system accurate.

- Other Job related duties as given

Additional Duties:
- Answering incoming calls and emails from customers
- Providing accurate information about products and services
- Resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Maintaining customer records and updating account information
- Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests
- Communicating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications:
- High school diploma - Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- 1+ years of experience in customer service or related field preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook is a plus

- Must be able to type 40WPM

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
