Overview: We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Outside Sales Representative to join our team specializing in residential roofing solutions. In this role, you will receive company-generated leads while also proactively generating new leads through door knocking, cold calling, and referrals. Previous experience in roofing or sales is not required, as we provide comprehensive training in both areas. Responsibilities:
- Follow up on company-generated leads as well as actively generate new leads through door knocking, cold calling, and networking.
- Conduct roof assessments and document damages using company-provided training and tools.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement strategies to meet sales targets and goals.
- Utilize software tools to create accurate estimates and proposals for customers, with training provided.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing any concerns and ensuring satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Stay informed about industry trends, products, and competitors to effectively position our offerings in the market.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Qualifications:
- No previous experience in roofing or sales required; we provide comprehensive training.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly, with a willingness to develop roofing knowledge and sales skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and close sales.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with a results-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in using software tools preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate customer schedules.
