Sales Consultant - Hunter Territory

Focusing on professional sales of equipment and chemicals, the company distributes a comprehensive product mix backed by thorough support and extensive training programs. We are known for our Cleaner University certification and teach between 500 and 1000 industry professionals every year.

SITUATION

We have a number of identified verticals where we have strategic plans to grow our business. We have done an excellent job building within, and upon, our Education sector and we are looking for the same acute Client focus, and a high level of accuracy and professionalism to develop several other markets. Our ability to be effective in these markets is based on our experience developing programs that have reduced product usage and increased productivity while incorporating sustainability practices that have reduced their overall budget. These clients will also require a strong customer service proficiency, a high level of organization and coordination, and intensive communication with various departments, external partners and suppliers, and a dedication to all levels of the customers organization. We have identified an opportunity to grow our current customer-base and to HUNT new prospects of similar size and scale in all these markets.

OBSTACLES

The Sales Consultant for SouthEast LINK will find themselves working with a portfolio of current customers and a newly developed list of prospects we will identify together. The sales cycles may be lengthy and the acceptance for change will require a strong presence and history of performance.

ACTION

As a Sales Consultant for SouthEast LINK, you will join a successful tenured team of sales professionals and together we will grow our Company! With the expansion of our team, and our goals for growth in new markets you should expect to seek new hunting opportunities 50-60 percent of the time and building a pipeline of opportunities that is ever growing and progressing to fruition. This would require:

Determine a list of prospects that meet the criteria of a customer

Prospect by phone and set up introductory meetings with Companies from a predetermined list of prospects

Manage a pipeline of these opportunities

Perform customer needs analysis

Quote and propose on appropriate supplies and services and create solutions that meet customer requirements

Close business against preset revenue and profit goals determined by the company

Train and support a new set of customers in an account portfolio you have built

Manage the existing and reoccurring business stream

Meet face to face with your existing customers on a weekly basis or as needed to solve any issues

Manage preexisting contracts

You will need to utilize your strong knowledge of the janitorial/sanitation supplies business or clean facility processes

You will need to learn, then articulate and demonstrate our value proposition to secure our position within these customers

You will need to use your can-do attitude to work independently, and be a self-starter every day with minimal supervision

You will need to work with management to track your accounts activities so that the organization can support your efforts in the field.

RESULTS

Our ultimate goal is to grow, specifically in markets other than education. We can measure this success through pipeline progression, revenue results against pre-existing business, and number of active accounts in the portfolio. Additionally, the importance of a profitable business is key to sustainable growth and retaining customers through our strong customer service and excellent deliverables. Measuring customer profitability will be part of determining the success of net new revenue and ultimately growing our customer base.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
