Job Description

Farmers Insurance and The Jose Bravo Insurance Agency in Poway, CA is looking for a licensed Commercial Insurance Sales Producer. You will be responsible for the development and acquisition of new business clients. Base plus generous commission and bonuses for right individual.

Products we market and sell through Farmers include General Liability, Business Owners Policy, Commercial Auto, Workers Comp, and Commercial Umbrella. Products we market and sell through our Broker arm, Kraft Lake, include. Professional Liability, Surety Bonds Builder's Risk, Contractors GL, Commercial Earthquake, and other products.?Industries we work with include restaurants, retail, manufacturing, artisan contractors, distribution, commercial auto, and others.

Must have an active P&C license and experience in the commercial insurance industry. Life and Health license and bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Foster strong relationships with our commercial clients to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
• Provides on-going support to clients as needed.
• Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases
• Educate clients on the commercial insurance policies that best suit their needs
• Develop ongoing networking relationships with business owners, CPAs, Attorneys, Chambers of Commerce members, etc.
• Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.

Requirements

• Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
• Self Starter and go getter. Works well without much direction.
• Above average computer skills.
• Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
• An active Property & Casualty license is required.
• Possess an active Life & Health Insurance license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous work experience in the commercial insurance industry.
• Bilingual, fluent in English, Spanish and/or any other language is highly beneficial.
• No felony convictions.
