Sales Representative

City of Industry, CA

An international freight forwarding company in the City of Industry is seeking a Full-Time Sales Representative

Job: Sales - Ocean Freight Forwarding

Salary: Base $40K-$60K, plus uncapped commissions and bonuses

Job type: Full-time, hybrid may be an option

Location: City of Industry, Los Angeles County, CA

Description

Provide professional and efficient customer service to help the company stay a leader in the freight forwarding industry.

Sourcing new sales opportunities through cold calls, network, and referral,

identifying key customers and generating interest.

Responsible for price and service negotiation with customers and vendors.

Effectively maintain the relationship with existing customers

Coordinates with the Accounts Receivable Department to ensure that customer payments are received.

Review sales statistics and plan more effectively to improve sales

Achieve sales goals and meet key performance indicators set by the company.

Follows company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Requires 2 years sales experience with minimum 1 year experience in related experience preferred

Associates degree or higher

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with both local and domestic vendors and clients

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
