JOB TITLE: Home Depot Lead Generator

FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Non-exempt
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Regular, Part-time
WORK HOURS: 20-40 hours per week. Days and schedules may vary.
REPORTS TO: Lead Generator Coordinator

SUMMARY

The IMS Heating & Air Lead Generator is responsible for creating in-store appointments for the Home Comfort Sales team. This critical role includes working at one of the end-cap locations at the Home Depot Stores. Establish and maintain a positive interaction with customers, Home Depot Associates, Home Depot management, and other vendors. The Home Depot Lead Generator plays an essential role at IMS by providing leads generated through individual efforts, store associates, management, and vendors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate appointments for tune-ups, repairs, replacements, or new HVAC equipment
• Increase program awareness of HVAC services offered by Home Depot in-store
• Promptly input qualified appointments into lead tracking software
• Attend staff meetings
• Increase positive influence of store associates, managers, and vendors
• Enter leads into system with 100% accuracy
• Walk the store with brief interactions with Home Depot staff
• Conduct aisle product knowledge meetings with Home Depot associates
• Walk the store to generate appointments with Home Depot customers
• Follow up on soft leads to convert to appointments
• Arrange marketing materials to attract customers to end cap
• Work with store to increase awareness of HVAC
• Work with departments to help bring customers to end cap

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Ability to learn, retain, and interact with customers about general HVAC products and solutions
• Ability to walk store and stand for 4 hours
• Ability to easily approach strangers
• Provide a minimum of 3 leads per week

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

• Ability to generate qualified leads
• Number of appointments generated
• Number of appointments that resulted in sales
• Fostering of Home Depot relationships

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

WORKING CONDITIONS
The Home Depot Lead Generator is a job requiring primarily non-manual work. The majority of the time is spent in the Home Depot stores.
