Sales Representative Heavy Duty Truck & Trailer Parts

Broadway Brake Corp is currently seeking an Sales Representative. This position is responsible for developing and generating new high potential accounts while retaining and increasing existing accounts sales and overall customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have sales experience in the heavy duty truck or trailer industry.

The Sales Representative provides outstanding service to existing and potential customers to achieve growth objectives. The Sales Representative is responsible for assisting customers via direct sales in obtaining parts as well as technical and customer service functions. Familiarity with heavy duty truck and trailer parts and components required. Knowledge of heavy duty truck and trailer repair is desired.

Job Overview

The Sales Representative will develop your own sales territory by developing relationships with new customers to drive business and maintaining relationships with some current customers. You will become a trusted face to our customers while also adhering to company values and policy. As a member of our team, you will use your strong interpersonal skills to provide service and support to your customers as needed, which may include coordinating with other departments.

Responsibilities

Work with team to create and implement a sales strategy that makes sure you meet personal sales goals, as well as those set in place by the company.

Perform part sales activities both inside and outside the shop location and assist with purchase orders, both creation and receiving, in an effort to learn the parts business and the customers.

Provide effective prospecting techniques via phone and cold calls to identify new potential customers to meet company targets.

Communicate with current and potential customers on a regular basis, providing solutions as needed.

Track your sales activity and attend weekly sales meeting to discuss progress and new customer strategies.

Adhere to all company procedures, values and policies so that you provide an accurate representation of the company to all potential and current customers.

Perform your duties as efficiently as possible, reducing costs when possible, and maintain receipts for all job-related expenses and submit expense reports per company policy.

Coordinate with the accounts receivable department to ensure that all invoices are paid in full in a timely manner by your customers.

Travel locally promoting Broadway Brake and all it has to offer.

Job Requirements

Proven Sales experience in the heavy duty truck and or trailer industry.

Possess a strong mechanical working knowledge.

Excellent customer service capability and strong communication skills.

Exceptional verbal and written communications.

Experience with POS software applications.

Solid time management and analytical skills are necessary.

3-5 years experience in sales, preferably outside sales.
