The Account Manager is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of properties. This position is required to be proficient in performing complex tasks of landscape management that include a wide range of maintenance responsibilities described below. They must possess strong people and communication skills that will allow them to effectively lead a team that will ensure customer satisfaction and portfolio profitability.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Primary contact for their assigned maintenance customers, and requires strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to make decisions and execute customer agreements.
- Effectively manage budgets for each assigned customer while striving to meet branch financial goals and maintaining a high level of service.
- Organize people and processes including but not limited to staff hiring, training, staff management, and monitoring the quality of work provided by the field staff.
- Manage crew productivity for each assigned job, ensuring that tasks are completed on or before the total estimated hours.
- Manage work force scheduling appropriate to each maintenance account in their portfolio
- Oversee timely dispatch, proactive scheduling, equipment management, vehicle maintenance needs and tool equipment management for their portfolio.
- Responsible for the daily operation and management of assigned trucks, fuel card procedures, weekly vehicle inspection report, safety checks, maintenance, and storage.
- Review team timecards daily and to ensure that all labor hours are accounted for and coded correctly.
- Attend job walks with customers as necessary and walk each job in their assigned portfolio a minimum of once per month.
- Attend customer board meetings as needed outside of normal business hours. (typically nighttime meetings)
- Responsible for the completion and closing of open work orders and maintenance requests.
- Ensures that jobs follow the Plant Health program guidelines.
- Continually evaluate individual team members and identify training needs to high potential employees for career advancement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
