Full description of the position

An International Food Wholesaler is searching for an Bilingual Japanese/English Sales Executive to join their team in Torrance, CA. This position is responsible for developing and promoting the Company products at the designated areas in order to increase the profit of the company as well as maintaining the existing customer base. A* bachelors degree, and 1 or more years of outside sales experience is required. The ability to speak Japanese is required.* This is a full-time position, exempt, excellent benefits, 401k, and bonus.

Bilingual Japanese/English Sales Executive Duties:
-Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from business directories, trade shows, internet web sites, and other sources.
-Translate documents from Japanese to English and vice versa
-Build strong relationships with local channels to exceed sales targets in the domestic market
-Frequent domestic local travels
-Deliver ingredients to customers periodically
-Identifies sales prospects and contacts them and other accounts as assigned.
-Contacts potential and existing customers both by phone and in person on a daily basis.
-Determines customers needs and budgets; plans a sales strategy to sell the products.
-Conducts sales presentations and introduces promotional products to both existing & potential customers.
-Develops sales relationship with customers by following up frequently especially when quotations are submitted.
-Communicates with existing and potential customers seeking sales opportunities as well as identifying market trends.
-Develops sales and action targets and submits monthly action plan; Actively Implements the strategic sales plan accordingly.
-Develops and maintains sales materials to be presented to the customers.
-Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
-Submits weekly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems concerning customer relationships: keeps the Management informed.
-Searches inventory records to determine if the products on hand is in sufficient quantity.
-Develops new suppliers and business relationship.
-Plans and attends trade shows.

Bilingual Japanese/English Sales Executive Skills:
-Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
-1+ years of sales experience
-Valid drivers license
-Ability to drive on a regular basis
-Ability to speak Japanese is required
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
-Excellent verbal & written communication skills
-Multitasking and interpersonal skills
