Jack Giambalvo Motor Company is now hiring an experienced Sales Consultant for our Jack Giambalvo Hyundai location in East York.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Sales Consultant is directly responsible for selling new and used vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume and customer satisfaction standards.

• Determine each customer's vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.
• Demonstrate new and used vehicles (includes test drives).
• Deliver vehicles to customers. This process ensures that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty and paperwork, and it lays the foundation for customer loyalty.
• Attend sales meetings.
• Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
• Maintain prospect development using the Customer Relationship Management system.
• Keep abreast of new products and incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers.
• Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews and analyses.
• Review and analyze actions at the end of each day week, month and year to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively.
• Understand the terminology of the automobile business and keep abreast of technological changes in the product.

Qualifications and Skills

Prior customer service/sales experience, with experience in automobile industry preferred

Excellent verbal/written communication and negotiation skills

Professional appearance

Ability to pass drug/background screenings

High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid PA drivers license and good driving record

Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
