Outside Contractor Sales

With over 30 years in successful business growth, we work with Architects, Engineers, Interior Designers, Electrical Contractors, Energy Service Companies, and end users to assist them in the proper selection and application of the latest lighting and control technologies to enhance their construction designs. We work hard to give our customers the highest level of service possible and need to add team members who share the same values.
Division: Sales: Cleveland, OH Territory
Reports to: General Manager, Ohio
Overall Responsibility: The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining ongoing relationships with clients that will help the company reach its sales and earnings goal in the marketplace. He or she will need to be a self-starter and must be comfortable interacting with customers on all levels.
- Working with wholesale distributors, contractors, and end users, to help fulfill their day-to-day lighting needs.
- Working closely with the entire sales teams to close new business.
- Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities
- Keeping current with product and service information and updates
- Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services
- Communicate with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on new leads and existing projects
Qualifications
- Any previous experience with lighting, architecture or electrical engineering, or electrical distribution
- Inside or outside sales experience
- A strong scientific background and a good grasp of basic level mathematics
- The ability to write with clear concision.
- Strong Phone Communication Skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- The ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Critical thinking and a willingness to ask questions.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
