Female-owned Sage Crystals, a consciously sourced crystal company, is seeking a Part-Time Crystal Merchant to join our brick-and-mortar store. We are looking for engaged and motivated individuals who value authentic connection, education, and want to be part of a community-centered company.

Ideal candidates are self-starters with a genuine love for crystals, who can retain a lot of information, and are excited to share that knowledge with our amazing clients. Were searching for someone with a warm, outgoing, engaging personality who knows how to make everyone feel welcome and seen.

Above all, were looking for a natural salesperson who understandsor is willing to learnhow to listen to our wonderful customers, and support them in their selection of the perfect all-natural, crystalline tools to empower their own lives.

Responsibilities:

• Creating a memorable customer service experience and connecting with customers to build lasting relationships.
• Learning, understanding, and sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Serving customers by helping them select products specific to their needs andanswering any questions they may have about our stones.
• Processing payments, including totaling purchases, processing credit and debitcards
• Maintaining cleanliness standards, including, but not limited to, taking out thetrash, dusting, vacuuming, moping and bathroom upkeep.
• Alerting management of potential security or safety issues
• Assisting with inventory, including counting, sorting, receiving, and stockingmerchandise.
• Maintaining visual merchandising standards
• Opening, closing and daily operational duties.
• Helping to maintain a positive, engaging, and authentic workplace environmentfor co-workers and customers alike.Qualifications Include:
• Enthusiasm to provide excellent and authentic customer engagement.
• A keen interest in and curiosity about crystals, minerals, and other spiritual tools,
• Stellar listening & communication skills
• Dependable, and self-motivated,
• Open, empathetic, and friendly demeanor
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems (we use Shopify).
• Familiarity with Apple products.
• Physically able to safely lift 20 lbs and climb stairs.
• At least 1-2 years retail experience is highly preferred.What We Provide:
• $17-18/hr starting, with possibility of advancement.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 10 per week
