Watts Steam Store, a Singer Industrial Company, is one of Americas largest Industrial Distributors and has an opening for a Sales Account Manager. This role will support our efforts in Twin Falls, ID. The Sales Account Manager is responsible for sales and margin growth as well as market penetration and market growth. Accountable for retention, development, customer satisfaction of both existing and new accounts, and for area coverage in a specified territory. We are looking for an eager self-starter who wants to be part of improving our team in the Idaho Falls area.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Increase sales of components, systems, and service capabilities within target accounts/specified territory.
Identify and develop new markets and customers.
Maintain good working relationship with customers including Engineering, Purchasing, Management, and all other aspects.
Follow the Watts Steam Store Professional Sales Program and apply sales strategies for continued growth.
Utilize the 5 stages of the sales process methodology to prospect, qualify, propose product/service plan, facilitate positive decisions, gain new accounts, and expand current accounts within the specified territory.
Maintain and Utilize Key Tools; Pipeline, Open Order Reports, Driving Logs, etc.
Recognize the need for and promote Watts Steam Store products and solutions to current and new customers.
Follow-up on all account activities to ensure order accuracy and timelines of completion to customer satisfactions.
Apprise supervisor when involved with resolving critical customer satisfaction issues.
Attend and participate in Vendor and Watts Steam store training and sales meetings.
Maintain accurate records of customer information, i.e., contacts, quotes, project files, competition, etc.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong Communication Skills (written & verbal).
Take Ownership of Responsibilities.
Motivated with the ability to work independently as well as within the team.
Manage Multiple Priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to multi-task
Willingness to travel including overnights when required.
Proficient in sales from start to finish including contacting, quoting, ordering, delivery, and follow-up.
Education and Experience:
Experience in industrial sales is strongly preferred, but not required.
Basic product knowledge of pressure washers, waste oil heaters, air compressors and fluid power is preferred
