Full description of the position

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join the BW Sales Team as a Regional Sales Manager based in MN or WI to drive sales in the North Central regions. Reporting to the VP of Sales, we are looking for individuals that can thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with a positive can-do attitude, impeccable integrity, and excellent communication skills.


This opportunity will enrich your business acumen and leadership proficiency as you engage with a diverse clientele in the industrial sector, overseeing sales channel partners and owning your region. We're seeking a candidate eager to tackle the challenge of delivering top-notch engineered solutions for motion products, particularly in harsh and extreme environments. This role, based in a home office, offers travel opportunities aligned with performance expectations.

       Lead new business development, seizing opportunities that open doors to new revenue streams, untapped markets, and enhanced capabilities.

       Foster new customer relationships to fuel regional expansion.

       Develop and uphold a comprehensive regional TAC (Target Account Conversion) plan, ensuring regular visits to all current and target customers.

       Perform professional sales calls, passionately advocating for our company's services across your territory.

       Showcase your expertise in selling our value proposition over mere price considerations, especially in harsh and extreme environments.

       Dive into industry conferences and regional gatherings, staying ahead of the curve in your field.

       BS/BA degree preferred

       5-8 years of experience in technical/complex selling of automation and motion control products to industrial OEM, end user and distributor accounts

       Effective at setting, evaluating, and executing individual and regional goals that create a dynamic results-oriented sales environment aligned with the companys culture and core values.

       Responsible for performance of Manufacturing Reps assigned to territory

       Lead product and application training at OEM, ASP, and key distributor locations

       Ability to sell added-value solutions by leveraging differentiation and creating a competitive advantage

       Excellent presentation skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills

       Effective use of core technology tools; CRM system, dashboards, and MS Office (i.e. digital selling tools)

       Strong critical thinking and listening skills, along with a strong desire to produce exceptional results and build customer advocacy

       Represent BW in a positive light by being recognized as a go-to resource that strengthens customer relationships, building advocacy and sustainable business levels
