The Opportunity 

Youll lead strategic business development for custom control systems in aviation, entertainment, and heavy industry. Youll work closely with our execs and technical teams to win high-value projects that only we can deliver.


What Youll Do 

  • Build and manage relationships with major clients in airports, automation, and entertainment 
  • Drive new business with long-cycle, high-stakes deals ($1M+) 
  • Represent CLX ENGINEERING at conferences and industry events 
  • Analyze market trends, identify new verticals, and shape sales strategy 
  • Collaborate on proposals, pricing, and contract negotiations 
  • Travel up to 60%, including overnight trips 


Who You Are 

You dont just manage leads - you create demand and close legacy-making deals.


Requirements 

  • At least 810 years in technical or engineering sales 
  • Track record closing $1M+ projects 
  • Knowledge of SCADA, PLC systems, and automation software 
  • Familiar with major OEMs and BHS contractors (Vanderlande, Siemens, etc.) 
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills 


Bonus Points for: 

  • Project management experience 
  • Selling into TSA, government, or aviation projects 
  • Understanding of airport funding processes
